1 Million Pillowcase Challenge
Help us make a difference. Amidon Quiltworks has joined up with
quilt shops worldwide in this Powerful Challenge to make a difference.
Make a pillowcase. Make dozens of pillowcases. Teach a friend to sew
pillowcases alongside you. Let’s make a difference right here in San Diego.
All pillowcases turned in to the shop will be distributed to Children’s Hospital,
the VA Hospital, various Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in and
around San Diego.

This is a great opportunity to complete that quilt you’ve been trying to check
off your ‘completed’ list – or start a new one! For those who might be interested –
the Vina De Lestonnac is in the center of the Temecula Wine Country – while you are here,
take a break from ‘quilting’ and visit one (or 2) of the local wineries.
Includes:
Two nights, three days stay at Vina De Lestonnac Retreat Center in Temecula.
All meals beginning with dinner on Friday night through brunch on Sunday.

Weekend (Thursday through Sunday) featuring
Pearl Pereira of P3 Designs.
Learn Pearl’s easy appliqué method as you work on your appliqué project.
As this is a ‘technique’ workshop, no specific quilt pattern or design is
required. Bring whatever project you need to complete - or start a new one.
All skill levels are welcome.
$520.00 per person based on double occupancy ($630.00 for private room)
and includes three (3) nights stay at Vina de Lestonnac Retreat Center in
Temecula, CA, meals beginning with dinner on Thursday and ending with Brunch
on Sunday, Trunk Show, Lecture & Work-shop fees.
